What it involves
Emergency work usually starts with making the area safe — removing hanging or broken limbs, or taking down a tree that has become unstable. Fallen trees and debris can then be cut up and cleared.
All our work is carried out by NPTC-qualified staff to BS3998, and we're fully insured.
Common reasons people call us
- A tree or large branch has fallen
- A tree is leaning or its roots have lifted
- Branches are split or hanging
- Debris is blocking a drive, path or access
Every job is different
Storm-damaged trees can be under tension and behave unpredictably, so they need assessing carefully. Nearby buildings, vehicles and power lines all affect how the work is done. If a tree is touching power lines, keep well clear and contact the network operator.
That's why we don't give prices over the phone. Tom will visit, assess the job in person and give you honest advice and a fixed written quote — free and with no obligation.

Frequently asked questions
What should I do if a tree has fallen?+
Keep people away from it and don't try to cut it yourself. Give us a call and we'll talk you through it.
A tree is on a power line — can you help?+
Stay well clear and contact the electricity network operator first. We can help once the area is safe to work in.
Is storm damage covered by insurance?+
That depends on your policy, so check with your insurer. We can provide a written quote for the work.
